As I mentioned in last week’s Thursday Notes, I’m attending the Learning and the Brain Conference here in San Francisco. Its focus is on the cognitive implications for technology usage in education (read more here: http://www.learningandthebrain.com/brain28.html). In addition to representing Convent, I’ll be attending the conference as a representative from the Mind, Brain, and Education program at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, my program at my alma mater. I’m looking forward to connecting with fellow alumni and other educators and researchers from around the country who are excited about the intersection of cognitive science, neurobiology, and educational practice. I will be keeping a liveblog of my adventures at the conference right here, so follow this space for my updates as the week goes on! I hope you’ll check it out and follow my progress and my notes on the conference!
