I’m in the keynote address taking notes on my iPad. In the spirit of Dr Rosen’s talk on task-switching and digital devices, I’ve got my iPad in my lap with a bluetoooth keyboard as I’m receiving email and texts on my iPhone. I’m now updating my blog from my iPhone since there’s no wifi to speak of in this auditorium (in a tech conference? For shame.)
So far, this is the inaugural mission of my iPad and I’m loving Evernote’s note-taking and audio recording capabilities. My only complaint so far is that the Bluetooth keyboard has its apostrophe in a strange place so I keep hitting return when I mean to write a contraction. So if you notice that my writing has gotten a lot more formal (with a lot more “cannot” than “can’t”), you’ll know why.
