iPad apps: Dragon Dictation

Dragon Dictation is a big name in dictation software. You can make status updates directly to Twitter and Facebook by speaking, and–on the school front–you can also put in notes to yourself as you talk. I’m not sure how well this would work to record a lecture or class discussion (as other tools like the LiveScribe Pen can do), but it might be great to record a brainstorming session with a teacher about a paper, an explanation from a math teacher about the steps for a certain problem, or a science teacher’s explanation of a complex biological process. Definitely worth checking out here: http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/dragon-dictation/id341446764?mt=8
