Are you looking for community service opportunities? The San Francisco Public Library is starting a new program called Teen Computer Corps at five branches of the SFPL and hope to recruit tech-savvy high school students to assist adults and seniors with basic computing skills.  The students would attend a mandatory training session in January (date TBD) and then volunteer 2 hours per week in January, February, and March.  At Richmond Branch, the program will be 4-6 pm on Thursdays.

If you’re interested in more information, contact your local librarian or to Kai Wilson, the Volunteer Services Coordinator, with any questions or to get an application.  The five library branches participating are Chinatown, Excelsior, Sunset, the Main Library, and Richmond.
