Whether a child is inattentive, anxious, sad or struggling to learn, parents may feel unsure of the best ways to help. Psychological testing can guide parents to a better understanding of the issues and effective solutions, but they first need to understand what the evaluation actually means. Dr. Pratt will explain the numbers with specific case examples so parents can set reasonable goals and support effective educational interventions. Dr. Pratt is a licensed psychologist who specialized in psychological testing, educational support and school placement. He writes reports that are thorough, practical and easily understood. He then attends school meetings to explain the results and ensure that the child receives appropriate services. As CEO of The Pratt Center in Los Altos, he supervises a team of six child psychologists.
